In Tuesday's Courier-Journal
This generated the second-most comments of the day (Nearly 140, surpassed only by E.J. Dionne's excellent piece about the 2012 election).

If I Haven't Told You Already:
I'm saving a fair amount of money when I shop online by first clicking on eBates website and THEN going to my destination. It's only one extra click and I'm getting purchase rebates from 2% to 51%! For example, I got two years of Entertainment Weekly for less than $9. It works on most sites online. Next time you shop online, hook up with eBates at the link below and let them know I sent you.

Getting greener
We're gradually getting greener around here--we started when we bought out first digital camera a hundred years and $700 ago. We got a charger and batteries for it at the time and it worked out well. Flash foreward about ten years: we now have a much better camera that cost a third the price (porgress!), so we're beginning the switch to all rechargeable batteries. After much research, I found a great charger/conditioner. I'll post the link here and recommend you give it a try. We're loving it. The only thing you cannot do is charge 9-volts, but I haven't found a single charger anywhere that includes those, too.

Today's C-J
Letter in the paper today that mentions my cartoon about the Weiner scandal, complaining that it was a swipe at Fox News and not at the congressman. Sorry, but I guess describing him as a "fool" who has ruined his credibility PRIOR to the Fox punchline just doesn't count. Yes, there was a swipe at RNC News--how could you not swipe at such a joke of a "news" organization--but Weiner was certainly hammered, too.
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
Sordid Lives
Saw Sordid Lives at the MEX theatre last night: hysterical! I sent a review to the C-J so look for that, but I will say it was a strong production all around. The guy who played Brother Boy was REALLY great. He captured the outrageousness of the comedy while still projecting the pathos; very talented actor. There were several other standouts, too. By the way, they had Del Shores' original wooden legs! Go see it--it's on through the 19th. Call the Kentucky Center Box Office for tickets.

I'm going to try posting my editorial cartoons here on the blog, linked from my website. This should make it much easier to keep things up-to-date. Here is the first of many to come:
